March 2008; a few trips to the cities and some action around
April 2008 was the snowiest April the northland has ever seen.  Records were shattered with the heavy snowfall.  The heaviest snowfall came the first weekend in April (full report and photos here).  The snow started falling, and by the time the system moved off to the east, we had received over 30 inches of snow.  Just six days later another 14 inches of snow would fall.  I was able to get some shots of the M-SUPMIN in Cass Lake from this storm.  The last weekend in April saw yet another major winter storm hit the area.  Snowfall of 12-16 inches were common with snow drifts exceeding five feet in the open areas and along lakes.  Full photo details available by clicking on photos links.

Northtown Yard Tour
