Remarks: This is what winter is all about... for me anyways! I love shooting in the snow. The
Cass Lake local is seen blasting through some snow as they make their way west through
Bemidji. The roads were horrible and the train just missed a car that slide into the crossing as
the gates were lowering.

Remarks: Oh crap! This car slid through the gates and got stuck. The car was able to rock
back and forth and get backed up enough to allow the train to clear in front of them. The driver
made the right decision to back up because the snow was deeper ahead of them and I doubt
they would have cleared the tracks.

Remarks: The first (to my knowledge) ES44C4 to pass through Cass Lake is tied down on a high
priority manifest in the yard. Hopefully they get those ugly numberboards fixed as it really
distracts from the engine.
